Welcome to Iguacu, Parnell’s iconic Restaurant and Bar. Pronounced Ig-wa-soo and named after the famous Iguacu falls on the Argentina/Brazil border, we have been providing a popular meeting place to Auckland diners for many years. Enjoy the intimacy and warmth of the open fire, or people-watching from the street-side outdoor dining area.
Often people think we are a fine dining restaurant, and whilst we take that as a compliment, we are in fact a brasserie. That means we offer a more informal dining experience - one that’s consistent with true Kiwi hospitality. However, we still insist on using the same high quality meats and fresh local produce found in fine dining restaurants… and our portion sizes are generous enough that you won’t need to stop for a hamburger on the way home!
As we want our flavours to be as unique as possible, we make nearly every ingredient by hand here at Iguacu. This includes all of our chutneys, chocolates, and biscotti. In fact, we are one of the few Auckland restaurants to smoke our own meat. For those of you on a special diet, we can do almost everything (except Halal), so please just let us know and we’ll do our best.

Gloriously Gluten Free provides sweet treats that taste as close to wheat baked treats…but without the wheat and without the detrimental effects wheat leaves a lot of us with!!!

I am gluten free myself and I really missed sweet treats. I have spent hours trying to get products that taste as close to the wheat treats I really missed. I have a range of goodies from Caramel Slice, Brownies, Cakes, Muffins etc.

Kaffay makes and sells delicious Sweet and Savoury pancakes that can satisfy most dietary needs: the traditional savoury pancake known as the GALETTE and the sweet pancake, or CRÊPE are large, light and very thin.

The GALETTE originating in Brittany, France, is a large thin pancake made with buckwheat flour, which really compliments savoury toppings and fillings. Equally tasty with sweet toppings, the GALETTE is wheat, gluten, and sugar free with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Our GALETTES are ideal for those with various dietary requirements.

Our CRÊPES are the well-known French style pancake, large and very thin made using our traditional recipe and is the base of many mouth watering sweet toppings and fillings.
