Takaro is a luxury Rejuvenation Centre in the far south of New Zealand. Rejuvenation is the natural process of becoming younger, healthier, happier and more peaceful. Their speciality is their natural rejuvenation treatments which focus on optimising your energy and balancing your ‘elements’. Takaro is set in a remote river valley, surrounded by millions of acres of untouched forest and mountains – the most peaceful place on earth. Their menus are based around what is available in their organic gardens each day. Rejuvenation meals are simple, delicious and use as many home produced ingredients as possible. They make their own butter, cheese and yoghurt, produce meat from their own animals and grow their own vegetables and herbs. They are always willing to cook to their client’s specific requirements and will simply discuss the menu with them to make sure they get what they want.
