Range of food using fresh local produce (free range where possible) including gluten free and dairy free such pancakes, french toast, muesli etc for breakfast. Spudbar was founded in Melbourne in 2000, born out of inspiration by the lack of healthy, beautiful tasting food that was quick, convenient and value for money. Our founder, Clay Thompson and his wife Laura longed for a food outlet that provided nutritious, inexpensive fast food. When nothing could be found the only option available was to create a food concept themselves. Hence the idea for Spudbar!

The Cornershop Bistro is situated in the beachside suburb of Sumner and is open Wednesday to Sunday for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Our menus offer modern Bistro fare with a European slant, Terrines, Coq au Vin, Benedict, French Toast and fresh wonderful salads.
A great portion of the menus are available Gluten Free. Because we source the freshest and highest quality produce, more than half of the dinner and lunch menus provide gluten free options.
We bake all our counterfoods and desserts on site with many GF options and our own GF bread available for the breakfasts. Our fudge brownie and friands are delicious!
We understand the demands of the Gluten Free dining, as we have a child who can not tolerate any gluten. This has educated us and therefore our staff on how to best provide for this dietary requirement.

Last Train to India is the food critic’s choice. Their path breaking menu is probably the biggest Indian menu i ve ever seen. Divided into North, South, East and West sections,the menu covers foods from the different regions of India.
A huge selection of Vegetarian mains and starters.
All their curries are gluten free and they even have a gluten free bread and gluten free South Indian Masala Dosa.
They also serve dairy free options and Jain food.
Highly recommended!

Discovered this great snall cafe today that i have walked past a million times!
Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free including all their pasta meals, soup, cakes and beautiful fritatta’s.
I had some amazing pumpkin soup today which even came with Gluten free bread!
It is tucked away in the Guthrey Centre next to Ballantynes on High Street. I am unsure of the name but they have a sign out on the foot path saying Italian!
Definately recommend especially if you work in town and struggle to find new foods to eat.
