The Ground Floor Cafe is one of the cafe’s I have ever been too.  We were staying across the road from the Cafe and they had their menu in the motel room book.

The selection was just fantastic.  Everything from Panini’s to pancakes to a fully cooked breakfast.  Nothing was an issue for them and they even allowed to purchase some frozen panini’s to take home with me to Invercargill.

Their service was superb and it’s the place I will be going to when I visit Christchurch next.

We arrived later in the day. The selection from the cabinet seemed limited, then upon looking at the menu they had a good menu and I had mushrooms on GF bread, it was lovely .

Another Coeliac and I enjoyed a lunch from their menu selection, from which most dishes could be done as gluten free without any trouble.  I had the gluten free Caesar Salad, complete with the croutons.
