The Cottage Cafe - Browns Bay

Located in Browns Bay, near Ike’s Emporium this little cafe has heaps of Gluten Free options on offer and as an added bonus, they are so friendly there.
Breakfast and lunch menus that are gluten free.
Bread, paninis, bagels, sweet treats, quiches, burgers etc…
They also offer a ordering service for loaves of bread, pies etc… just go in and ask.
I’ve tried the Eggs Benedict, American Brownie, Ginger slice and a few other things and they were amazing!

A little tucked away, just of the main front road in Browns Bay but a great find. Doesn’t look that inviting from the outside but once your in the food is great. Lots of gluten free choices, pies, cakes, quieces etc and all really tasty. Will definitely be back!

was just wondering if any of the people who had commented on Cottage Cafe have been diagnosed formally with Coeliac disease by a specialist

Yes Melissa. I am Coeliac and never had problems eating there. I am an extra sensitive Coeliac too so I always give them directions on how I want my food to be prepared and served on my plate too.

It was great service and great food. After calling through to see what could be Gluten free I was surprised when walking in I was remembered. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone!
