Review
Stunned to see this on the shelf in GF section of Countdown Whangerei for just $5 for a 375 gm box. Bought it. Also found it in PaknSave Petone in the general cereals section (beside Weet-bix) for $6.50. Very exciting!
Pros
Family loved it. Similar to original Weet-Bix but don’t go so soggy. Made from Sorghum grain. At $5 per box they compare well to other GF cereals cost wise (not so at $6.50 though).
Quote from my kids:
“Kids, what do you say about those GF weet-bix?”
Answer:
“Great, amazing, awesome, awesome, awesome!”
Cons
Nil! Long overdue.
Bottom Line
Both boxes disappeared quickly at home. Buy from Countdown not PaknSave.
Here’s hoping this is a sign that Sanitarium has finally got on board with GF and this is the first of many new products from them.
