Woolworths Freefrom Orange and Poppyseed Choc Coated Biscuits

Review
This is a new product available in New Zealand supermarkets. Free from Wheat and Gluten, it is a great treat biscuit, perfect for morning tea or to pop in the lunch box. The packet contains 12 biscuits and weighs 200g. The biscuit is light and crispy, with a subtle orange flavour, poppyseeds throughout and a dark chocolate base. The biscuits do contain soy,maize, milk and nut products.
Pros
These biscuits were delicious, and gone within a matter of hours. Even the wheat eaters in our house enjoyed them. Great with a cup of tea, sweet but not over the top, and should satisfy the chocolate cravings. Perfect for when Gluten Free guests drop by for a coffee, or when you need to take something along to a picnic and haven’t had the chance to prepare. They sell at a very affordable price for Gluten Free, around the $3.30 mark.
Cons
These biscuits do contain a long list of ingredients, but if you are fine with that, then I can recommend them. Also beware that they do contain soy, maize, milk and nut allergies,so may not be suitable for everyone.
Bottom Line
I would be buying these again. Great to keep in the cupboard for émergencies’ or just for a treat every now and then when I’m feeling too lazy to bake myself. Also brought on special for $2.56, how can you go wrong.

These are really yummy (and affordable). I have served these to friends before and they haven’t known they were gluten free so not only fantastically yum but taste “normal” too!

These are fab, great for with a cuppa and for popping in my lunch box for a yummy treat!

These biscuits are just divine. There are several Freefrom products available in Woolworths in Western Australia. Great to see they are making their way to NZ
