Best Chocolate Brownie ever

This is a recipe that I have adapted to be gluten free. All the non Coeliacs in my household have said that it is the most devine chocolate brownie that they have ever tasted.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups gluten free flour
1 cup gluten free cocoa
1 tsp gluten free baking powder
2 cups Sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
4 eggs
225g butter
Method
Sift dry ingredients into a bowl and make a well in the centre
Beat together the melted butter, eggs and vanilla essence and stir into the dry ingredients.
Press into a well greased and paper lined slice tin (I just used a square cake tin)
Bake at 180 degrees for 25mins (I found that it took a bit longer than that)
Cool completely and then ice with rich dark chocolate icing.

We made this brownie with only half the sugar and it still tasted pretty good! We’ll make this again for sure!

This really is the best chocolate brownie ever! Thanks!! We make it without the icing and add about 1c of frozen berries to the mixture before baking (using frozen berries helps them to keep their shape while mixing). Yum

I have to say this recipe is the best. I cook and bake and have friends who suffer from the dreaded CE for dinner so I made this brownie and I kid you not it is a winner. Just be aware I added the frozen fruits as well which were terrific but I added 10 muns to the cooking time and it was perfect!!!

I also tried this recipe with a dusting of icing sugar instead of chocolate icing, and I didn’t have quite enough sugar for 2 cups so used about 1 1/2… It was delicious! All my non-coeliac friends loved it too. Would definitely recommend!

this GF brownie is the best! I made it for my sons 8th birthday cake as he loves brownie better than ordinary chocolate cake. I iced it with butter icing and everyone thought it was so nice. My son doesnt have to eat gluten free - I do - but he rated it as awesome brownie…
I will be recommending this recipe!!!

I made this today but I don’t have any GF baking powder so I didn’t use it. I also used only half of the sugar and it turned out really good. I love if. I thought when I recently found out that I had Celiac disease (I’m 19) that I would have to give up my fave treat. Hopefully it will last

I use either orgran all purpose plain flour or bakels gluten free health flour. Generally one or other is available at most supermarkets. Both work well.

This was a big hit with my family & work mates. I made it with the frozen raspberries & without, both were yum. Also added a 1/2c of chop chips.

Tried this recipe minus the chocolate icing (pretended to be healthy by replacing with a dusting of icing sugar!), the result was great, very easy to make and very tasty.
