Delicious and easy dessert. Can be made with almost any other fruit you have an abundance of - peaches, plums, blackberries.
1 cup of baking mix (I used Healtheries), or 1 cup of self-raising Gluten Free Flour
1 cup sugar or 1/2 cup of brown sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups of mulberries or other fruit thinly sliced
1/3 cup of sugar
Pre-heat oven to 180oC. Melt butter in bottom of baking dish (placed in the heating oven). Mix flour, sugar, milk and vanilla together then spread on top of melted butter (trust me this does work in the end). Mix the mulberries and extra 1/3 cup of sugar- heat to melt sugar. Pour on top of flour mixture in baking dish. Bake for 35-40 minutes–or until done (won’t wiggle when you shake it). Serve with vanilla ice cream!
