A yummy and cheaper alternative to the gluten free muesli’s on the market.
Ingredients
500g rice flakes (wholegrain)
1/2 cup linseeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup dried apricots (chopped)
1/2 cup sultanas (or raisins)
1/2 cup nuts (of your choice), I like almonds
Add any other seeds, nuts or fruit to this depending on your tastes.
Fruit juice (of your choice),I like Pineapple juice.
Method
Mix together all dry ingredients and put in an air tight container. 1 hour before eating (or night before) put a serving size into a bowl and add 1/4 cup of fruit juice (Don’t use to much liquid otherwise it will go too soggy) Leave to soak.
When ready to eat top with fruit, yoghurt and milk.
I use Healtheries Wholegrain rice flakes. Most supermarkets stock them.

Where do you get wholegrain rice flakes from? I can only find the white processed ones
